EchoFarmKVKK privacy notice
This notice is prepared under Article 10 of Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”, known as KVKK). It is an English translation; the Turkish text prevails.
1. Data controller

2. Data processed
- Identity and contact: the user ID provided by the sign-in service, your email address, the sign-in method (Apple or Google).
- Backup: when you tap “Back up my data”, the text and measurements of your records (plot location and boundary, soil and water values, irrigation, greenhouse, soilless and livestock records, notes). Photos aren't included.
- Kept on your phone: your nickname, photos, voice recordings, veterinarian's phone number and other records are processed and stored on your phone; we have no access to them.
- Transaction security: your device's IP address during sign-in and backup.
3. How data is collected
Data is collected electronically, by automated means, when you sign in, back up and use a feature in the app.
4. Purpose
Data is processed to create your account and make sure only you can access it, to store and restore your backup, to provide irrigation, fertilizer and crop suggestions, weather and disease risk alerts, photo interpretation, record keeping and reminders, to keep information secure and to answer your requests.
5. Legal basis
Account and backup data are processed under Article 5/2-c of the Law (directly related to the formation or performance of a contract), and transaction security data under Article 5/2-f (legitimate interest). For location and voice data sent to services located abroad, the legal basis is the explicit consent you give when you start the feature yourself.
6. Transfers
Sign-in data is transferred to Google Ireland Ltd.'s Firebase Authentication service and backup data to Google Cloud Firestore (Frankfurt); Google acts as a processor on our behalf. With Sign in with Apple the sign-in request goes to Apple Inc., with Sign in with Google to Google. For the weather forecast, your field's approximate location goes to Open-Meteo; for map imagery, the area being viewed goes to Esri; when you use a voice note, the recording goes to your phone's speech recognition service, directly from your phone. These providers' servers are abroad; transfers are made under the appropriate safeguards set out in Article 9 of the Law (standard contracts) or your explicit consent. 7. Retention
Account and backup data are kept while your account is open and are deleted immediately when you delete your account. Records on your phone stay there until you delete them or remove the app.
8. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed; to request information if it is; to learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; to know the parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and deletion or destruction; to request that these actions be notified to the parties it was transferred to; to object to an outcome against you resulting from analysis by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. You can send your request to zai@97.team from the email on your account or in writing; it will be answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest. You can delete the data on your phone and your account directly in the app.
