EchoFarmTerms of use
By downloading, signing in to or using EchoFarm, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.
1. The service
EchoFarm is an app provided by 97 Yazılım Ltd. Şti. for keeping records, calculations, alerts and suggestions for fields, greenhouses, soilless growing and livestock. The app is free, contains no ads and has no in-app purchases.
2. Account
You use the app by signing in with your Apple or Google account. Your account is personal to you; you're responsible for the security of your phone and your sign-in account. Don't create an account if you're under 16. You can delete your account at any time with the Delete my account button in the app. We may close accounts that seriously breach these terms, with prior notice.
3. Suggestions are advice only
Irrigation, fertilizer, crop choice, alerts and photo results are for information. They're based on the weather forecast, the values you enter and general agricultural rules; they can't fully know the real state of your field, greenhouse or animal. They aren't a definitive diagnosis, prescription or guarantee. You decide how to use a result; consult an agricultural engineer when needed.
4. Artificial intelligence
Photo interpretation, the symptom guide and the assistant produce results by automated methods. These results can be wrong, incomplete or inaccurate. When the app isn't sure, it doesn't give a definite name. Details: AI and its limits.
5. The veterinary limit
EchoFarm is not a veterinarian. It doesn't diagnose animal health problems, and it doesn't name drugs or doses. In an emergency it tells you to call a veterinarian. Every decision and treatment concerning animal health is the veterinarian's responsibility. If you suspect a notifiable disease, reporting it to the provincial or district directorate of agriculture and forestry is your legal obligation.
6. Pesticides and chemicals
The app doesn't recommend synthetic pesticides. If you use a product, following its label, its registration and the law in force is your responsibility.
7. Device control
From the Device Hub you can send commands to a valve, relay or irrigation controller. Every command is sent only with your approval. Correct installation of the device, electrical and water safety, and the outcome of the command are your responsibility.
8. Third-party services
Sign-in (Apple, Google), backup (Google Firebase), weather (Open-Meteo) and maps (Esri) are services of other companies. Their availability, accuracy and terms are outside our control. If one of them is interrupted, the related feature may temporarily not work.
9. Rules of use
- Don't use the app for unlawful purposes.
- Don't record someone else's land, personal data or animals without permission.
- Don't sign in with someone else's account or try to break the service's security.
- Don't copy the app by reverse engineering or resell it.
10. Intellectual property
The EchoFarm name, logo, design and software belong to 97 Yazılım Ltd. Şti. The records you enter and the photos you take belong to you. We keep your backup only to give it back to you.
11. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from crop loss, reduced yield, animal loss, device failure, data loss or decisions made based on a suggestion. We recommend backing up your records regularly. Your rights under consumer law that can't be waived by contract remain unaffected.
12. Store terms
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's standard end user license agreement also applies; if from Google Play, the Google Play terms apply. Apple and Google aren't responsible for supporting this app.
13. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; we announce important changes in advance and the current text is always on this page. You can end your use at any time by deleting your account and removing the app.
14. Language
These terms are published in Turkish and English. If they differ, the Turkish text prevails.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For consumer matters, consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts have jurisdiction. If you live in the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence also apply.
